Rodney takes down Jeff for the win!
After John donked off nearly 4 million in chips, Rodney cruised into the lead and took down the game. Well it wasn't necessarily donkey play, more than Jeff was a suckout machine. Jeff held J,Q to John's A,10. Jeff spike a Q on the flop and it held up, crippling Johns stack. John was felted just a few hands later. Rodney won the heads up battle fairly easy, and pocket Queens on the final hand didn't hurt. We will play next week on Thursday night. Q's 7pm.

Brody wins by a landslide. Q takes 2nd.
We had a full table and the action was solid all night. Brody took down the top prize after dominating early and often. He won a huge stack late in the game off of Chad, when Chad tried to bluff and all-in play pre-flop with 7,4 offsuit. Brody woke up with Queens in the big blind and knocked Chad out of the game. Fittingly it was 7,4 offsuit that won him the final hand. Q had made 2 pair, while Brody turned a set of 7's. It was a good night with some colorful conversation. We found that our home game Doc could treat a common cold, and our electrician could swap out a light fixture. Who knew? We will play next Tuesday night at Q's 7pm. Have a good weekend. GO COLTS!!!!!!!!

Chad and Tom both come back from the short stack to finish 1/2!!
I don't have many details but I do know Tom made one hell of a comeback when he had only 45k in chips with 7 left to play. Chad also had a short stack and made an impressive yet suspect run to win. I was not there but heard he made several questionable calls...but he still won. We will see you next tuesday night at Q's 7pm.

Opie wins, 1st/3rd in consecutive weeks. Webby is the bridesmaid again!
Opie has been playing some good poker as of late, completing back to back weeks of a 1st and 3rd finish. Not to be outdone Webby has back to back 2nd place finishes. They both have been catching cards and running good. Opie got involved in a huge 3 way "All-In" pot last night that allowed him to limp to the finish line in 1st place. He knocked out Rodney and Jeff when his A,Q held up against A,J and K,J. Come to think of it I can't recall of him ever losing a pot last night, well obviously at least one that mattered. I guess that has to happen to win..... We will be playing next week at Tom's on Wednesday night at 7pm. See ya then!!!
